Jennie Garth’s Fitness Regimen and Favorite Meal

Jennie Garth, at 52, prioritizes fitness for more than just appearance. She emphasizes the importance of maintaining muscle strength and bone density as she ages. With the help of her trainer Jason Cohen, Garth focuses on her posture, strength, and core health through weightlifting. Her weekly workout routine includes full-body workouts three times a week which challenge her core, upper body, and legs. Despite previously disliking exercise, Garth now looks forward to her sessions as they provide physical and mental benefits, helping her reset her mind and clear her head.

Garth incorporates stretching into her workout routine to ensure her body is ready for the physical demands of the gym. She begins with light weights and gradually moves to heavier ones, typically doing 12-15 reps per set. While she dislikes traditional cardio exercises, Garth opts for walks in her neighborhood and engages in high-intensity movements during weightlifting sessions to keep her heart rate up. Her daughter, Lola, has become her workout buddy, joining her for gym sessions and participating in exercises such as weighted lunges, tricep dips, and planks.

Early morning workouts are a non-negotiable for Garth, as she finds that exercising later in the day affects her energy levels and disrupts her schedule. By starting her day at 6 a.m. and commuting to the gym, Garth ensures that she prioritizes her fitness goals before anything else. She adjusts her routine when faced with conflicting commitments, scheduling her workouts two hours earlier to accommodate her busy schedule. Ultimately, Garth’s dedication to staying active and strong motivates her to continue challenging herself physically.

Looking ahead, Garth aims to improve her posture, core strength, and overall physical fitness to maintain her active lifestyle and prevent age-related declines. She is committed to staying active and constantly challenging herself to avoid becoming complacent. Smoothies are a crucial part of her daily diet, providing her with protein and fiber after her workouts. By incorporating vegan protein powder, MCT oil, and other superfoods into her smoothies, Garth ensures that she is fueling her body with essential nutrients to support her fitness goals. Despite her busy schedule, Garth remains dedicated to her health and wellness, showing that age is just a number when it comes to staying fit and strong.
