Three of the individuals required hospitalization, although none were in serious condition. The cayuco was spotted by another vessel near the Anfi de Mar tourist complex, close to the port of Arguineguín. Despite the size of the cayuco and the good weather conditions, the number of migrants reaching the Canary Islands has decreased in recent weeks.
