According to a statement from the governorship, operations were carried out by the Sivas Republic Prosecutor’s Office, Suşehri Republic Prosecutor’s Office, and Şarkışla Republic Prosecutor’s Office in coordination with the Provincial Police Department Narcotics Crimes Branch and Intelligence Branch to prevent drug use and trafficking.
During the operation, 21.30 grams of synthetic drugs, 1 gram of hashish, 1034 synthetic pills, 1658 sheets of synthetic drugs soaked in paper for use, 917 cannabis plants, 2 unlicensed pistols, 2 unlicensed hunting rifles, and 150 packs of smuggled cigarettes were seized, and 19 suspects were arrested.
Out of the detainees, 4 were arrested by the judge, and legal proceedings were initiated against 15 others.
