A chemical gas leak occurred in a factory in the town of Taşköprü in Çiftlikköy, leading to the dispatch of AFAD, fire brigade, and 112 Emergency Health teams to the area. Three individuals who had been affected by the gas were provided with respiratory treatment and their health conditions were reported to be stable.
The statement indicated that the gas at the site was being absorbed with water and by 00.30, the leak had been completely brought under control, with no further gas leakage observed at the spot. Teams from Yalova, Bursa, and Sakarya remained on standby at the factory for precautionary measures and periodic measurements were being carried out. The assessments showed no negative outcomes.
