Three vehicles collided in a recent accident in which two people were injured. The incident occurred in Konacık neighborhood on Atatürk Boulevard, when a pickup truck hit a pig that suddenly appeared in front of it, causing the truck driver to brake suddenly and collide with the animal. Following this, another truck behind them also slowed down abruptly, causing a motorcycle with license plate number 48 AKG 364 traveling in the same direction to hit the truck and be dragged along.
After the accident, bystanders immediately informed the emergency medical services. As a result, numerous police teams and ambulances were dispatched to the scene. The traffic in the area was temporarily closed off while the injured motorcycle driver, identified as Fulya Ç., and her passenger, Selamet T., were taken to Bodrum State Hospital. Fortunately, it was reported that their injuries were not life-threatening. The pig that was hit did not survive and was removed from the road.
