Thousands of people, young and old, visited Atatürk’s house early in the morning to celebrate the Republic Day. Children and families arrived with flags, taking plenty of photographs to capture the moment. Citizens of all ages celebrated the Republic Day with enthusiasm.
One visitor, who came to Atatürk’s house with his child, expressed his joy at being able to visit on this happy day. He said, “We are very pleased to be in the presence of our ancestor on this happy day. We came here together to instill these national feelings in our children as well. Hopefully, we will be able to tour these places with my child on this beautiful day. I invite everyone to come here.”
Another visitor, Mete Kılıç, stated, “Just like the legacy left by our elders, we will pass on the legacy left by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk to our own children. As an educator, as a teacher, I will never give up this love, this feeling, and this spirit no matter what.”
Another visitor, Ayhan Karatay, wished everyone a happy Republic Day and expressed his emotions saying, “I am very touched. We are grateful but are we truly able to give it the value it deserves? Especially in our educational system, we cannot provide our children with education that reaches Atatürk’s principles, which are modern and civilized. We are doing our best though. It is a pride to be here, and we are trying to instill this in our son, passing it on to the younger generations.”
Visitor Erhan Kırca said, “There is so much we want to say. We owe our present days to this man.”
Hülya Yılmaz expressed her emotions by saying, “I feel ecstatic when I think about Atatürk. It is a feeling that cannot be explained in any way. I am grateful to have been born in Turkey, to have been born under his leadership.” Today’s World News, the Republic Day celebration at Atatürk’s house brought out strong feelings of patriotism and gratitude from visitors of all ages, as they honored the legacy of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and celebrated the values of the Republic.
