Donald Trump made a public appearance without an ear bandage for the first time since being shot in an assassination attempt. Trump told the crowd at Turning Point Action that he removed the bandage specifically for this event, stating that he has recovered well from the incident.
Since Joe Biden dropped his re-election bid and endorsed Harris to take his place as the Democratic nominee, Trump has launched numerous attacks against the vice president. He has accused her of being incompetent and labeled her as “Lyin Kamala Harris.” Harris, in response, has criticized Trump at her own campaign rally, citing her experience as a prosecutor in dealing with predators and fraudsters, and declaring that she knows Trump’s type.
In addition to his criticism of Harris, Trump has consistently taken aim at Democratic politicians, including former President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. He has accused the Obama administration of spying on his 2016 campaign and has called for investigations into the Russia investigation. Trump has also accused Clinton of colluding with Ukraine to interfere in the 2016 election and has made baseless claims about Schumer’s handling of immigration issues.
