According to a statement from the Governorship, an operation was carried out by the Bitlis Police Department Intelligence and Counterterrorism Branch teams under the coordination of the Bitlis Republic Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office to reveal the actions and activities of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization.
As part of this operation, three doctors who were found to be treating PKK/KCK members and working in hospitals abroad affiliated with the terrorist organization were arrested in Istanbul as part of an operation centered in Bitlis.
During the search of the suspects’ residences, a large number of digital materials were seized.
