The investigation into the stabbing deaths of the married couple Ángel Villar and Elvira Fernández, both 52 years old, and their daughter Laura, 22, in a house in Chiloeches (Guadalajara) confirmed that the motive for the triple homicide was robbery, specifically the theft of several luxury watches. Three suspects have been arrested so far, with Fernando P. S., 23, being the alleged perpetrator of the murders, and David, 25, and a 34-year-old woman playing secondary roles as accomplice and accomplice respectively. David was quickly apprehended after fleeing the crime scene in a car and confessed, leading the Guardia Civil to the hostel where the other two suspects were hiding, where they found the loot in a small suitcase.

According to the Guardia Civil’s investigation, Fernando and David arrived at the victims’ house shortly before three in the morning with the intention of breaking in to steal. Fernando, armed with two large machete-like knives, entered the house while David waited outside. What was supposed to be a silent robbery turned into a tragedy when the family heard the intruder. The father, Ángel, despite causing injuries to Fernando, ultimately succumbed to stab wounds, as did his wife Elvira and their daughter Laura. Simultaneously, David, the accomplice waiting outside, fled the scene and drove away in a black Peugeot owned by his mother.

After the deaths of the victims, the main police hypothesis is that Fernando took several valuables from the house, including high-value watches, and then set a fire to cover up the evidence. He then fled and sought refuge in a small hostel in Daganzo de Arriba, a town in the Community of Madrid, 30 kilometers from the crime scene. A woman who had booked a room in advance was the third person arrested in connection with the crime. The son of the murdered couple, Yeray, arrived at the house half an hour after the crime and discovered the fire inside. He called the security guards of the urbanization, who attempted to extinguish the flames but ultimately had to call the emergency services. After nearly two hours, the firefighters managed to put out the fire and found the bodies of the couple and their daughter with evident signs of being stabbed, with sources mentioning “cruelty.”

The Guardia Civil’s investigations quickly yielded results, as a gas station security camera in the nearby town of Pozo de Guadalajara captured the car driven by one of the suspects, David, fleeing the scene at high speed. David was arrested hours after the crime. During questioning, he confessed to the events and identified the alleged perpetrator as well as his whereabouts in Daganzo. The police found Fernando and his partner at the hostel, with Fernando showing injuries from the struggle with the victims. In a small wheeled suitcase, they found the stolen goods, including the watches.
