On February 22, in Esenyurt, Istanbul, two dogs that were allegedly attacking children were taken out of a site by a cleaning worker and a gardener and abandoned in a region in Istanbul Başakşehir. Following a complaint from a site resident, these individuals were fined 14,432 Turkish Liras according to relevant articles of the Animal Protection Law.
