A fire broke out in a standalone house in the district of Bucak around 10:45 pm. The fire started when a gas cylinder exploded on the street, causing a blaze in the wooden house. Promptly, several fire and police teams were dispatched to the scene following reports to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Upon their arrival, police officers secured the area while the fire brigade teams, with the help of the public, intervened in the fire. The fire, which also spread to a neighboring building, was eventually brought under control and extinguished after a long struggle by the firefighters. Two wooden buildings were completely destroyed in the fire, but fortunately, no one was inside at the time, hence preventing a major disaster.
