Led by entrepreneurs and policymakers such as Sen. Joe Nguyen, who played a key role in securing state funding for the project, the initiative aims to position the region as an AI hub and support local startups. In recent years, Seattle’s startup ecosystem has seen the closure of several community spaces catering to entrepreneurs, including Techstars Seattle. However, new spaces like Foundations and Founder Nexus are emerging to support the city’s growing startup climate.
