The TCG Nusret, the world’s first and only floating museum ship, is now open for visitors at the Marmaris Yacht Port. School classes from elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as some citizens visiting with their children, have explored the ship. Equipped with modern navigation devices, the ship provides visitors with visually appealing scientific data during their tour. Visitors have the opportunity to take souvenir photos on the ship and capture the picturesque views of the sea.

The TCG Nusret will be open for visitors in the town from 09:30-12:30 and 13:30-17:30 on May 5th. It has been announced that the ship will make port visits in the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas until June 8th. The museum ship serves as an educational and interactive platform for visitors to learn about the history and importance of naval warfare and to experience the maritime atmosphere.

The unique floating museum ship offers an immersive experience for visitors to discover the historical significance of the Nusret Mine Ship and its contribution to the Gallipoli Naval Battles. By preserving the memory of this important vessel, the Turkish Naval Forces Command aims to educate and inspire future generations about the importance of maritime history and naval warfare. The interactive exhibits and educational displays on the ship provide an engaging and informative experience for visitors of all ages.

The TCG Nusret’s presence at the Marmaris Yacht Port has drawn attention from both local residents and tourists, who have been eager to explore the museum ship and learn about its historical background. The opportunity to visit a floating museum that commemorates a pivotal moment in Turkish naval history has attracted a diverse range of visitors, including school groups, families, and history enthusiasts.
