Take That Fans Express Outrage Over Seat Offers for Manchester Gig at New Venue Amid Co-op Live Chaos

Take That recently moved their shows from Co-op Live to the AO Arena in Manchester due to technical issues. Fans are upset over the change as they have lost coveted front row seats. Ticketmaster has tried to relocate fans to seats that closely match their original purchase, but some seating locations will vary. The AO Arena is working to ensure fans receive appropriate equivalent seats for the upcoming shows, although they do not manage the ticketing process. Some fans have expressed frustration with the last-minute venue switch and are questioning if they will book future gigs in Manchester.

Amidst the chaos at Co-op Live, where a concert was canceled, Take That decided to move all of their upcoming shows to the AO Arena. The band clarified the decision in an Instagram statement, mentioning the ongoing technical issues at Co-op Live. Ticketmaster also issued a statement, working with event promoters to move fans to locations similar to their original bookings. Refunds are available for fans who are unsatisfied with their new seats. The general manager of AO Arena expressed sympathy for fans and assured they are working to provide appropriate equivalent seats for the shows.

Fans like Ryan and Anita Morrissey-Booth have spoken out about their disappointment with the venue switch. Ryan, who had originally purchased side-stage tickets close to the stage, found himself seated at the back of the arena after the change. Anita had paid £250 for a front-row seat in block A but was moved 38 rows back. These fans, who are dedicated to attending Take That concerts, feel let down by the rearranged seating arrangements. They believe the shows should have been rescheduled instead of moving their seats.

The decision to move the Take That shows was not taken lightly, considering the inconvenience this may cause to fans who had already made travel and accommodation plans. Ticketmaster has been trying to assign fans to seats similar to their original bookings, although some variations in seating locations may occur. The AO Arena, where the shows have been relocated, is working to ensure fans have a positive experience and a great time at the upcoming gigs. The venue does not manage ticketing but is focused on ensuring smooth entry and safety for all attendees.

As a means to address the ongoing delays and technical issues at Co-op Live, all of Take That’s shows have been shifted to the AO Arena. Despite some fans feeling let down by the seating changes, efforts are being made to provide them with an enjoyable concert experience. Ticketmaster has vowed to work with event promoters to address any concerns from fans, and refunds are available for those who are unhappy with their new seats. The band and the venue are committed to ensuring the upcoming shows are a success and that fans can enjoy the music in a comfortable and suitable environment.
