The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts that starting tonight, there will be intermittent and locally strong rain showers accompanied by thunderstorms in the eastern part of Adana, western districts of Osmaniye and Hatay, and in the southern parts of Mardin, Siirt, Şırnak, and Hakkari. Tomorrow morning, localized heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected in the north of Erzurum, Kars, Ağrı, Iğdır, and Van.
In Edirne and Kırklareli provinces as well as in the inland areas of Tekirdağ, heavy rain showers and thunderstorms are expected tomorrow afternoon.
In the western part of the Mediterranean Sea, strong winds are forecasted to blow from the west and northwest starting from Friday noon, reaching speeds of 6 to 8 on the Beaufort scale. In the Antalya Gulf, the winds will shift to west and southwest on Saturday afternoon, still blowing at the same speed. The storm is expected to lose its strength by Saturday evening.
