FC Barcelona will not be pursuing a potential transfer of Palmeiras prodigy Estevao Willian, also known as ‘Messinho’, according to SPORT. This decision is based on the fact that the Catalan club already has a talented young player, Lamine Yamal, who plays in the same position. While there have been rumors linking Messinho to Barcelona, it seems that the club has decided not to pursue the Brazilian wonderkid.

Messinho, who expressed a desire to play for Barcelona, is represented by Andre Cury, a former scout for the Catalan club in Brazil. Cury, who is also the agent of Barcelona forward Vitor Roque, believes that signing Messinho would bring joy to the fans. However, it appears that Barcelona is focused on developing their own talent and supporting players like Lamine Yamal to reach their full potential.

Lamine Yamal, a serial record breaker at just 16 years old, has already become a regular starter for Barcelona and his national team. He recently impressed fans at the Bernabeu after a dazzling performance against Brazil. Barcelona sees him as their future star on the right wing and is prioritizing his development over bringing in additional competition.

Barca’s decision not to pursue Messinho has nothing to do with the player’s talent, personality, or family background. It is simply a strategic move to focus on nurturing their young talent, like Lamine Yamal, rather than bringing in new players. The club wants to create the best possible conditions for their young players to thrive and succeed.

While Mundo Deportivo had linked Messinho with a move to Barcelona, it seems that the Catalan club has made a conscious decision to prioritize their existing talent. Messinho’s teammate, Endrick, has already secured a move to Real Madrid, indicating that both players are highly sought after in European football. However, Barcelona has decided not to pursue Messinho, despite his desire to play for the club.

In conclusion, FC Barcelona’s decision not to pursue the transfer of Estevao Willian, also known as ‘Messinho’, is based on their focus on nurturing and developing their existing young talent. While Messinho expressed a desire to play for Barcelona, the club sees Lamine Yamal as their future star on the right wing and wants to support his development. Barcelona’s decision reflects their commitment to building a strong foundation of young talent for the future.
