Serhan Tüzer, who lives in Bahçelievler Mahallesi, arrived at Barbaros Middle School on Konyaaltı Avenue with his dog named “Çaki”. Tüzer, who voted at Ballot Box No. 1028, told an AA reporter that he hoped the election results would be auspicious.
Tüzer explained that he did not want to leave his dog at home, saying, “We cast our votes. I love Çaki very much and didn’t want to be separated. It is the first time he has come to vote. A beautiful memory.”
Emine Okan, who voted at Ballot Box No. 1033 at the same school with her dog “Papi,” also joined the ranks of those who voted with their pets.
Okan expressed happiness in fulfilling her civic duty, stating, “Papi is the joy of our home. He has been with us for four years. May whatever is best for our country and our state happen.”
