GESTAŞ AŞ, a transportation company that provides services between the Bosphorus and the islands, announced that some ferry trips will be canceled tomorrow on the Kabatepe-Gökçeada and Geyikli-Bozcada routes. On the Kabatepe-Gökçeada route, all trips from Gökçeada at 18.00 and from Kabatepe at 15.00 and 20.00 will be canceled. Similarly, on the Geyikli-Bozcada route, the 07.00 trip from Bozcaada and the 08.00 trip from Geyikli will also be canceled.

The company did not provide any specific reasons for the cancellation of these ferry trips. It is advised for passengers who had trips scheduled during these times to make alternative arrangements or contact GESTAŞ AŞ for further information. Other trips on both routes are expected to proceed as scheduled, and passengers are encouraged to plan accordingly. It is important for passengers to stay updated on any changes in the ferry schedules.

The announcement of the canceled ferry trips has caused inconvenience for passengers who were planning to travel between Gökçeada and Kabatepe or Bozcada and Geyikli tomorrow. Some passengers may have to adjust their travel plans or find other means of transportation to reach their destinations on time. The impact of these cancellations on the local economy and tourism industry is also a concern for businesses and stakeholders in the region.

Residents and visitors of Gökçeada and Bozcada rely heavily on the ferry services provided by GESTAŞ AŞ for transportation to and from the mainland. Any disruptions or cancellations in the ferry schedule can have a significant impact on the daily lives and activities of the island’s inhabitants. It is essential for the company to ensure reliable and consistent transportation services to meet the needs of the local community and travelers in the region.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure may be called upon to investigate the reasons behind the sudden cancellations of the ferry trips and to address any issues that may have led to these disruptions in service. It is important for the authorities to work closely with GESTAŞ AŞ to prevent future cancellations and to maintain a smooth and efficient operation of ferry services in the area. Passengers and stakeholders are hoping for a swift resolution to this situation and for a return to normalcy in the ferry schedules.
