Manchester United’s Erik ten Hag is hoping for better injury news for his team ahead of their match against Arsenal, after missing key players like Bruno Fernandes in their recent game against Crystal Palace. With five players potentially returning, including Fernandes, Luke Shaw, and Lisandro Martinez, Ten Hag is looking for a boost as they aim to recover from a 4-0 loss. Despite the injury setbacks, United will need to secure a win against Arsenal to stay in the race for sixth place in the Premier League. Ten Hag expressed frustration over the club’s extensive injury list, marking it as a rare occurrence in his managerial career.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the Newcastle owner, is facing a potential double blow as the club closes in on a key appointment. Meanwhile, football fans can watch the Premier League title race and Champions League matches on TNT Sports. The competition in both English and European football continues to intensify as the season progresses.

United midfielder Scott McTominay and forward Marcus Rashford are among the players recovering from injuries ahead of the Arsenal clash. McTominay, who missed the Crystal Palace game due to a knee injury, is set to return to training and may be in contention for the Arsenal match. Rashford, who also picked up a knock, could potentially make a quick return to action. Additionally, Anthony Martial has returned to training and could feature before the end of the season amidst contract uncertainty.

Manager Ten Hag is confident in the progress of his injured players, including Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez, who are already back on the training pitch. The Dutch manager has emphasized the importance of having key players available for crucial matches like the one against Arsenal. With Fernandes, Shaw, and other players potentially returning, Ten Hag is optimistic about United’s chances of putting up a strong performance against Arsenal.

As the season draws to a close, the race for positions in the Premier League standings becomes more intense. Chelsea and Newcastle are also competing for sixth place, highlighting the significance of every match for clubs like Manchester United. With the return of key players and the determination to bounce back from recent setbacks, Erik ten Hag and his team will be aiming for a positive result against Arsenal at Old Trafford.
