The family of Mica Miller, who tragically died by suicide after accusing her estranged pastor husband John-Paul “JP” Miller of abuse, has reached a legal settlement with him. Both legal teams in the case have agreed on the terms of the settlement, which are sealed under a confidentiality agreement. The settlement came after a probate court hearing on Mica Miller’s estate, in which it was decided that JP Miller would be the personal representative of his wife’s estate. As part of the agreement, Mica Miller’s family has agreed not to pursue any wrongful death lawsuit against JP Miller.
Mica Miller, 30, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was found in Lumber River State Park in North Carolina. Court records show that the couple was in the process of getting a divorce at the time of Mica’s death.
