Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met with the Italian Scientists Association (ISA) during the event “La scienza al centro dello Stato” (Science at the center of the State) held in Rome. The ISA consists of over 500 top scientists and university professors who presented the “Manifesto della Scienza” (Science Manifesto) to politicians, addressing some of the key issues of our time. The second session, starting at 12:45, featured University and Research Minister Anna Maria Bernini, Health Minister Orazio Schillaci, ISA President Uricchio, and top scientist Maria Irene Bellini, who was awarded the prize for one of the 40 best surgeons under 40 worldwide by the Association of Women Surgeons in 2022.
