“Ilit Azoulay: Mere Things” is a new exhibition at The Jewish Museum featuring the works of interdisciplinary artist Ilit Azoulay. “McNeal” is a new play written by Pulitzer Prize-winner Ayad Akhtar and starring Robert Downey Jr. The play follows the story of Jacob McNeal, a renowned writer with an estranged son and an obsession with artificial intelligence. Directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, “McNeal” is currently running at the Beaumont Theater through November 24. The Museum at FIT is gearing up for the opening of “Africa’s Fashion Diaspora,” an exhibition that explores the influence of fashion on international Black diasporic cultures. The exhibit features 60 fashions created by Black designers from around the world, showcasing a diverse range of styles and influences. Curated by Elizabeth Way, the exhibition aims to highlight the creative contributions of Black designers to the global fashion industry. The exhibit runs through December 29 and is accompanied by a book published by Yale University Press.
