Rio Ferdinand and his wife Kate recently enjoyed a family day out at Wembley Stadium watching a match between Manchester United and Coventry City in the FA Cup semi-final. They were joined by their children as well, including son Cree, three, and Rio’s older children Lorenze, Tate, and Tia. Kate shared on Instagram that it was Cree’s first-ever match and he was dressed in an adorable Manchester United football kit. The family was seen walking around the pitch, meeting Fred The Red mascot, and witnessing the game which Manchester United eventually won on penalties after a 3-3 draw.

Kate looked stylish in a white semi-sheer crop top, grey wide-legged jeans, and trainers, while Rio sported an oversized black sweatshirt with matching trousers and sunglasses. Tia also looked trendy in a khaki crop top and cargos, bundled up in a white padded coat to keep warm. The family enjoyed the game, with Kate sharing their reactions on social media, showing them throwing their arms in excitement. Rio even demonstrated his former ball skills and kicked a ball back onto the field while warming up with the team. Before heading up to their box, Rio took selfies with fans and met some players.

Kate recently shared a glimpse into their family’s morning routine, which included a gym session with their kids. In an Instagram Story, Kate was seen working out with weighted leg raises while Rio trained his chest on the cable machine. She later swapped her dumbbell for baby Shae, their 8-month-old daughter, as she continued her exercise routine. Cree also joined in, wearing a Santa costume and a Spiderman mask. Kate admitted to feeling worried about the family dynamic shifting with the arrival of a new baby, as it impacts everyone. She shared struggles with mom guilt and pressure to be a great mom, wife, and stay in shape, but highlighted the importance of adapting as a family.

Kate opened up about her challenges with balancing motherhood and self-care, expressing concerns about spreading herself thin across five children. She acknowledged the difficulty of trying to be perfect and the weight of mom guilt, but emphasized the need to ride it out and accept imperfection. Kate and Rio, who tied the knot in 2019, are content with their family of five and have no plans for more children. She reflected on how her priorities and exercise routine have shifted since becoming a stepmother, focusing on quality time with her family. Despite the challenges, Kate described her youngest daughter Shae as a ‘dream’ and the ‘happiest baby,’ bringing joy to their family dynamic.
