Sometimes ignorance really is bliss.
Not really knowing a person until you live with them can sometimes be true. That was the case for this woman who was beyond shocked to recently discover how exactly her husband showers.
TikTok user @britforreal shared a now-viral video of her realization which made her wonder if all men follow the same process when they’re sudsing their bodies.
“I’m just so upset. I found out how my husband washes his body in the shower,” she says in her video, which has 3 million views.
After asking her husband to demonstrate his shower routine, he begins showing her by scrubbing his beard.
“With that much effort? Give me the effort,” she hilariously responds.
After washing his beard, the husband then explains to his wife that he creates a “triangle” when washing his body to clean his stomach and nether region.
“I’m scared for my life. Stop!” she says in horror to the triangle motion her husband is seen continuously making in the video.
It gets worse. “Then you get out your Mastercard and you Amex right back here,” which indicates him washing his behind. After that, he calls it a day and hops out of the shower. Horrified, his wife asks what we’re all thinking: “You’re telling me you don’t even wash your pits? You don’t even round the corners of your cheeks and you sit on public toilets?”
Of course, her husband didn’t see anything wrong with his shower routine but thousands of people in the comment section of the video did. “EVERY INCH NEEDS TO BE WASHED. EVERY INCH,” one commenter wrote.
“And no washcloth?!” another joked.“The TRIANGLE GOT ME cus [sic] he missed his entire legs,” wrote a commenter.
Others said that hygiene routines should be disclosed on a first date — or at least shower together a few times to learn what they do in there.
“Alright..it’s mandatory for couples to at least take 1-2 showers together before entering a relationship bcuz [sic] no,” someone suggested.
“I think we should ask for these details on the first date,” a commenter said.

All jokes aside, some commenters couldn’t believe how unclean some men can be.
“And some women wonder why they get constant yeast infections it’s from the men they allow inside them not being clean,” one person said.
