It adds that it will be, “drier in the north with plenty of sunny spells, and a few showers across Scotland.”Looking at Wednesday and Thursday, the forecaster predicts: “Largely dry and warm on Wednesday with sunny spells. Rain and showers spreading in through Thursday and Friday with strengthening winds and turning cooler.”By the middle of next month, there will most likely be “slow-moving (or blocked) weather patterns”, the Met Office notes. There is a a strong chance that these will be “high pressure will probably be dominant for much of the time.”The good news is that this means there will be “a lot of fine and dry weather. If wetter, more unsettled weather develops, this is most likely to affect the south of the UK. Temperatures are likely to be close to or slightly above average overall, although some cold nights are possible,” the Met Office adds.
