Most notably, we had colored jeans, chunky statement necklaces, poofs in our hair, and the colors teal and coral.
I dare say, you read that list and cringed, just like I did writing it.
Well, apparently one of everyone’s least favorite trends is trying to make a comeback in 2025, and I have to say, I’m not ready.’

A TikTok from @mariasiivonen has gone viral this week, showing items in a Flying Tiger store in Europe donning mustaches in all shapes and sizes.
Yes, you read that right. Mustaches.
“Oh no, they’re coming back,” she wrote in the video.
“The owls are next.”
Now, if you need a refresher, mustaches were a huge trend back in the early 2010s thanks to all the hype around ‘hipsters’. And, let me tell you, you could get a mustache on ANYTHING. There was even a huge trend of people tattooing mustaches on their fingers — if that’s you please let me know if you’ve lasered it off.

Unsurprisingly, many people in the comments were pretty horrified at the sight, hoping that the trend wouldn’t go global. But, due to the cyclical nature of fashion and trends, it wasn’t completely unexpected.
