The dollar menu seems to be a thing of the past, being replaced by a variety of meal deals as a way to lure in customers without losing out on money.
While it feels as though no fast food can necessarily be considered cheap these days, there are some chains that are significantly more expensive than others.
Delish set out to find the cheapest fast-food chicken sandwich option available across 20 popular chain restaurants.
Because prices tend to vary from state to state, the outlet looked just at the city of Las Vegas for the purposes of their list.
They noted that technically Hattie B’s has the priciest chicken sandwich at $10.79 per sandwich, but because the chain is mostly only in the South and not throughout the entire country, they did not include it in their list.
Here are the chains with the most expensive chicken sandwich options, per Delish:
6th most expensive: Arby’s
Arby’s has three different chicken sandwich options, with the cheapest option being the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which is priced at $6.19.
Their more expensive chicken sandwiches include the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich for $6.69 and Chicken Bacon Swiss Sandwich for $7.19.
5th: Bojangles
Bojangles has two chicken sandwich options: Bo’s Chicken Sandwich and the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Luckily for Bojangles fans, they both cost $6.79.
However, Delish noted that it’s likely worth it to opt for the combo for $9.89, which includes a sandwich, a side and a drink.
4th: Nashville Hot Chicken
Nashville Hot Chicken also has two chicken sandwiches on the menu — with a 10-cent difference.
The customizable Chicken Sando will cost $6.85, and the Chicken Waffle Sando is $6.95.
3rd: Culver’s
Even with three chicken sandwich options at Culver’s, you’ll still be dishing out some money.
Sandwich options include the Crispy Chicken, Spicy Crispy Chicken, and Grilled Chicken. Both the crispy options cost $7.59, while the grilled sandwich is 10 cents more at $7.69.
2nd: Raising Cane’s
For a whopping $7.99, you can go to Raising Cane’s and order a solo chicken sandwich, which includes three chicken fingers, lettuce and Cane’s sauce on a bun.
The combo — which costs $10.29 — will also give you crinkle-cut fries and a 22oz. drink.
Most Expensive: Shake Shack
Shake Shack — which recently received the most complaints for being overpriced, according to a new study — was perhaps not shockingly named to have the most expensive chicken sandwich.
The cheapest option, the Chicken Shake, will cost you $8.99, while the most expensive option, the Avocado Bacon Chicken, will set you back $10.99.
The original Chicken Shake comes with chicken breast, lettuce, pickles and buttermilk herb mayo on a bun.
