Starbucks is shaking up its menu this spring.

On March 4, the coffee chain will remove 13 less popular drinks from its menu, the company told TODAY.com.

The selection of drinks being removed will include both hot and cold drinks as well as a few blended Frappuccino drinks.

According to Starbucks, these items leaving the menu are not purchased often, are difficult to make or are similar to other beverages that are already on the menu.

“As part of our plan to get back to Starbucks, we’re simplifying our menu to focus on fewer, more popular items, executed with excellence,” Starbucks told TODAY.com.

“This will make way for innovation, help reduce wait times, improve quality and consistency, and align with our core identity as a coffee company.”

Here are the drinks that will be removed from the menu as of March 4:

Iced Matcha Lemonade: Starbucks recommends its Green Tea Lemonade as an alternative, which has similar citrus and grassy flavors.

Espresso Frappuccino, Caffè Vanilla Frappuccino: Starbucks suggests trying the Coffee Frappuccino, which features a blend of coffee, milk and ice, and can be customized to add a shot of espresso or pump of syrup.

White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino: Starbucks says to try its Mocha Frappuccino as an alternative.

Java Chip Frappuccino: Instead, Starbucks suggests the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino.

Chai Crème Frappuccino, Caramel Ribbon Crunch Crème Frappuccino, Double Chocolaty Chip Crème Frappuccino, Chocolate Cookie Crumble Crème Frappuccino and White Chocolate Crème Frappuccino: Starbucks suggests ordering the Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, which can be customized with different flavors, or the Strawberry Frappuccino.

White Hot Chocolate: Starbucks says its Hot Chocolate can be modified with Mocha or White Chocolate Mocha sauce to drink as an alternative.

Royal English Breakfast Latte: Starbucks recommends its London Fog Latte instead.

Honey Almondmilk Flat White: Starbucks suggests ordering the Flat White, which can be customized with any nondairy milk and sweetener of choice.

The slimmer menu is part of the “Back to Starbucks” initiative, a plan to simplify offerings and return to its roots. It’s a step toward the coffee giant’s goal to cut “roughly 30%” of food and drink options from its menu by late 2025.

When CEO Brian Niccol first took charge of the company last September, he noted that one of his priorities to accelerate growth would be to simplify the “overly complex” menu so baristas can speed up service.

The company also recently shared that users on the Starbucks app and website will no longer be able to make certain modifications because these changes are included in beverages that already exist on the menu.

Several other policy changes have been put in place since Niccol took over, including free refills, limits on digital orders, the return of condiment bars, reversing the open-door policy, having baristas write on cups with Sharpies and bringing back comfy chairs to some of its stores.
