Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have taken their playful banter to the big screen.
The “Red Notice” actor, who stars in “Deadpool & Wolverine” alongside Jackman, reportedly joked about his pal’s real-life divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness in their new Marvel film.
According to Australian site news.com, in one scene, Reynolds’ character, Deadpool, looked at Jackman’s character, Wolverine, and quipped, “He’s usually shirtless, but he’s let himself go since the divorce.”

In September 2023, Jackman, 55, and Furness, 68, announced their separation after 27 years of marriage.

Though a source told Page Six that Jackman was “devastated” about the split, he and Furness have remained cordial.
“He’s spoken to Deb and they’ve seen each other,” a separate insider told Page Six. “They speak pretty regularly.”
Last October, the estranged couple even got together to have dinner in honor of Jackman’s 55th birthday.
Furness and Jackman met on the set of Australian TV series “Correlli” in 1995.
They tied the knot the following year and share two adopted children: Oscar, 24, and Ava, 19.
