Rumer Willis is following in her parents’ footsteps.
As the 36-year-old co-parents daughter Louetta, 1, with ex Derek Richard Thomas, she is looking to Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s example.
“Even when they split up, they created such a beautiful foundation of prioritizing my sisters and I,” Rumer said on Britain’s “Loose Women” Monday, referencing her younger siblings, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 31.
The “grateful” actress explained, “I never felt like I had to choose. Like, they never played against each other. We were a family, and we still are very much a family no matter what.
“Not only did I feel like that has set me up in my life to have such a beautiful foundation of my own family, but now, as I’m working through co-parenting as well, I feel deep gratitude for the example they’ve set,” Rumer continued.
The “Dancing With the Stars” alum gave birth to Louetta in April 2023.
In August of the following year, she announced via Instagram Stories that she was “single momming it and co-parenting” after calling it quits with Thomas.
While it is unclear when she and the 30-year-old began dating, they made their romance Instagram-official in November 2022.
Rumer debuted her baby bump the following month.
She appeared to debut a new romance in September 2024 when photographed kissing a mystery man, who has yet to be identified.
As for her parents, Bruce and Demi ended their marriage in 2000, more than a decade after tying the knot in Las Vegas.
The duo have showed off their amicable relationship over the years, even quarantining together during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The “Substance” actress, 62, is also friends with her ex’s wife, Emma Heming, with whom Bruce shares daughters Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10.
Moore has been supportive of the “Die Hard” star, 69, amid his struggles with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia in recent years.
