On3 Sports reported last week that an unnamed school made a $6 million offer to Ewers to enter the transfer portal and play quarterback for its team.
When asked Wednesday about the speculation, the star QB sidestepped questions about his future, with Texas preparing to face Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl and a shot at the College Football Playoff championship game at stake.
“I mean, right now, I’m just, I’m just not worried about all that stuff,” Ewers told reporters on Wednesday, according to USA Today’s Dan Wolken. “I mean, people can say all they want to say, but, you know, I’m just focused on focus on Friday at this point in time.”
