Does she look like a million bucks?

A mom has drummed up debate on social media after claiming her “old money” chic outfit supposedly landed her toddler a spot in a prestigious school.

Content creator, Tammy Peacock, posted an Instagram Reels video of herself decked out in quite the ensemble with the caption, “The outfit that helped secure my child a spot in a top school. I reek of old money, don’t I?”

The 35-year-old, who recently relocated with her family from Singapore to Cyprus, explained to Today that she learned the hard way how dressed up — wearing head-to-toe designer — parents get for admissions interviews at elite private schools in Cyprus.

“I showed up to our first assessment in jeans and a T-shirt, and the other moms were in Chanel,” Peacock explained. “So I knew I had to be better prepared for the next one.”

What was were the specifics of Peacock’s second attempt outfit? It was a carefully curated hodgepodge of luxury labels — a Zadig & Voltaire jacket and a Sezane blouse — and more affordable items, like her Marks & Spencer trousers.

While this mom was clearly proud of the outfit she put together — the many commenters on her video thought otherwise.

“Nothing says old money like a rhinestone star on your blazer,” one person wrote sarcastically.

“Ah you couldn’t have missed the mark more,” chided another, arguing that “money can’t buy style. “Nothing about this outfit says old money. If the items are expensive, they aren’t style well.”

“You look like a tired working mom,” another critic wrote.

“It’s giving Ross,” someone else chimed in.

“Old money doesn’t wear visible brands,” scolded another.

Shocked by the “awful comments,” Peacock clarified to Today that her Gucci belt was real after haters called it “fake.”

While Peacock claimed in the video caption that the schools are “assessing the parents just as hard as the kids,” teachers in the comments argued the opposite, with one saying that “there are zero times any of us have ever cared what a parent is wearing.”

“What can they assess on a three-year-old? They can check if they know their colors, numbers, and how to follow directions,” she said. “But they’re assessing the family just as much. They really are judging what you wear.”
