“There’s an undeniable excitement in the air in Miami,” Brazilian-born model Isabela Rangel Grutman tells Alexa. Perhaps the entrepreneur — whose gal pals include Victoria Beckham, Kim Kardashian and Anitta — feels that way because all her dreams have come true in Magic City. She and nightlife king David Grutman (of LIV, Gekkō ō and Komodo fame — who shared his own favorite Miami hot spots with us last year) were married at the Wynwood Walls in 2016, and are now raising their two daughters — Kaia, 7, and Vida, 5 — in the city.
In addition to being a part of her husband’s Groot Hospitality empire, the face of L’Oréal and Stuart Weitzman campaigns has launched her own sustainable clothing brand, Rangel (produced in South Florida), and recently opened her Isa Grutman jewelry flagship in the Design District (friend Hailey Bieber has already made the signature gold-and-diamond “Mom” ring go viral).
After building a life in Magic City, Rangel Grutman, 32, knows that unforgettable moments and stories are always just around the corner in Miami — here are the spots that speak to her the most.
“It’s such a whimsical, joyful place, and the whole family enjoys it! I recently even had my daughter Kaia’s 7th birthday party there.”
“Sagrado always gives me a taste of home, because the food is authentic, bursting with flavors that transport you straight to Brazil. My all-time favorites are the classic cheese bread and their rice and beans plate.”
“My favorite spa! The atmosphere is incredibly calming, with every detail designed to help you unwind. The amenities are exceptional — from luxurious treatment rooms to tranquil relaxation areas, everything is curated for the ultimate spa experience.”

“A hidden gem! The food is absolutely phenomenal — I often indulge in their gnocchi and Luci’s chopped salad — but what makes it even more special is its cozy, under- the-radar vibe that makes every visit feel like a delightful secret.”
“This museum is a great spot for both locals and tourists, kids and adults. From the immersive planetarium and stunning aquarium to the hands-on exhibits (“The Journey to Space” exhibit was spectacular!), there is something for everyone. Plus, it has incredible views of Biscayne Bay!”
“I always have so much fun dancing here. The DJs are incredible, keeping everyone on their feet, and the electrifying energy makes every moment unforgettable with friends. It’s the kind of place where great nights turn into incredible memories.”
“Iryna Alvarez at NailsTouch Miami is my go-to. She’s meticulous and always knows how to make my nails look perfect.”
“I shop this Miami-based vintage store via Instagram. I’ve discovered some incredible finds — like Jean Paul Gaultier pieces that are truly one-of-a-kind. And I love to browse their selection of vintage silk Versace shirts and sunglasses.”
“I love spending time here with my kids, starting with a visit to the park itself where they can play and explore. Afterward, we head to the beach to relax and soak up the sun. We connect with nature as a family, right at the southern tip of Miami Beach.”
“Of course I have to say Isa Grutman is my favorite boutique! One of the most magical, pinch-me moments in my career has undoubtedly been opening my flagship store in the Design District. It’s such an iconic and vibrant hub for art, fashion and luxury.”
“This is my go-to for a luxurious staycation. I appreciate the comfort and elegance of the rooms and I absolutely love dining at the Surf Club Restaurant by Thomas Keller (pictured above). The food is exceptional, each dish crafted to perfection.”

“IGK [where I’m also a partner], is my absolute favorite salon. Not only do they use top-quality products, but every stylist is incredibly talented. Whether I’m in Miami or away in NYC or Las Vegas, I know I’m in expert hands and will walk out with the perfect hairdo every time.”
