Silva said the note was written on the back of a Christmas card and caught him off guard and made him feel “blessed and privileged.””I didn’t know what to expect from the neighborhood I was moving in, but I have only seen folks going out of their way to make my family feel welcomed,” he said. “I decided to share it because I wanted other people to feel some of the goodness and kindness I’ve been offered.”Silva posted the note to Reddit under the handle u/alleycatbiker, where it drew a variety of responses.”That’s awesome!
