You won’t suffer from cabin fever in this suite setup.
A cruise company employee wowed pleasure boaters by showing off a luxury ocean liner’s priciest room in a “Cribs”-style video with 2.3 million views.
Dubbed the Royal Suite, the fancypants cabin is located in the ritzy Yacht Club of the MSC Seaside — a 1,060-foot floating palace operated by MSC Cruises. The space itself measures 667 square feet — around the average square footage of a New York City apartment.
“This is the most expensive cabin,” declared MSC employee Andreas Cruceros in the clip, adding that he only had “two minutes because our new passengers are coming.”
He then flings open the door to the maritime manor room, which features an array of plush amenities fit for a James Bond villain.
First, Cruceros shows guests the penthouse-evoking living room outfitted with two sofas and an armchair, a glass table and a gigantic wall-mounted TV.
Situated near the entrance is a bar cabinet stocked with drinks.
And that’s just the tip of the nice-berg as Cruceros then moves on to two other rooms.
One features a double bed — no sailors’ cots here — another TV, a private desk, a smaller balcony and an expansive, hotel-style bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower.
However, the crown jewel of the opulent quarters is a 355-square-foot balcony with a whirlpool bath, dining area and pool loungers.
“Look at this view of Miami,” exclaims Cruceros while gazing upon the Magic City’s skyline from the suite’s luxe loge.
TikTok viewers were impressed by the Royal Suite’s setup.
“That’s the only way I can afford to go on a ship just watching this video,” quipped one viewer, while another joked, “How many kidneys are we talking about?”
“Then they say money can’t buy happiness,” said a third.
Cruceros didn’t disclose how much people have to splash out for the maritime Mountain Olympus, though several posts on the review website Cruise Critic suggest a week’s trip could cost around $12,000.
However, prices vary depending on the season and itinerary.
