The pair confirmed their relationship in April 2024 when they posted a photo of themselves embracing at Stagecoach to their Instagram accounts. In an ironic twist, it’s believed that their romance first sparked at last year’s Travis Scott‘s charity softball event, which they are both scheduled to attend once again on Thursday.
Us Weekly caught up with Josie last July where she gushed over her “sweet Texas boy.”
“He is close with his family and his mom and his sister and her little ones,” she said at the time. “I just went to Texas to meet them recently. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming and to see that he has such an amazing family made me feel so comfortable.”
“I also think there’s a lot of beauty in keeping my relationship personal and between us,” she continued. “I have nothing to hide, but at the same time I think it’s going to be healthy for us to grow together to be the people we want to be if it’s not all publicized.”
As their relationship continued late last year, there were no indications of any strife between the two. In early December, Manziel posted a photo to his Instagram Story of him and Josie sitting in a bathtub, seemingly nude, as he washed her hair.
“A love like you,” Canseco wrote alongside the video. “My best friend and my forever. I’m so proud of the man you’ve grown into. You are the kindest heart I’ve ever met. How’d I get so lucky ++ happy birthday my baby @imanziel2.”
In January, the couple shared photos and videos of themselves packing on the PDA during a ski trip together to Aspen, Colorado.
