Blessed be the fruit — Elisabeth Moss confirmed the arrival of her first child.
The “Handmaid’s Tale” alum spoke about bringing her little one to set while speaking at 2025 PaleyFest LA on Wednesday.
“I feel so fortunate to be able to do that,” Moss, 42, gushed (via People). “That’s it. Period.”
She noted that “so many parents cannot” do so, adding, “Any of us who had the privilege of being able to bring our kids or see our kids at work, we would every single time be like, ‘Aren’t we lucky to get to do that?’”
The actress, who did not specify her little one’s name, age or sex, revealed her pregnancy news to “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” viewers in January 2024 amid baby bump speculation.
When Jimmy Kimmel asked at the time whether Moss was “pregnant or just an incredibly committed method actor,” she replied, “A little bit of both.”
The Golden Globe winner then gushed about how “well” her pregnancy was going, calling herself “really lucky.”
Moss’ reveal came six years after she dished to Marie Claire UK about her future family plans.
“I like the idea of passing on what my mother passed on to me,” she told the outlet in 2018. “[Parenthood is] not for everybody, and I didn’t know if it was going to be for me, but lately, I think it is.”
By 2022, she had shifted her stance to telling You magazine she “definitely” wanted to have kids.
The “Mad Men” alum, who did not mention her child’s paternity on the talk show, keeps her romantic life under wraps — but most recently dated cinematographer Adam Arkapaw from 2012 and 2015.
Additionally, Moss married “Saturday Night Live” alum Fred Armisen in 2009 for less than one year.
The former couple’s short-lived union was “traumatic,” she confessed in a 2014 New York magazine interview.
Moss added that she was “glad” she didn’t have kids with the comedian and “got that [relationship] out of the way.”
