A Walmart customer who bought a bag of Great Value chicken nuggets was shocked to discover her breaded bites were sold sans poultry.
TikTok user @reedtimessix shared a video of the bizarre realization as she was preparing dinner.
“Excuse me, Walmart, where is the chicken in my Great Value chicken nuggs?” she wrote on the clip, which showed her cutting a nugget in half.
As she sliced the chicken nugget in half, it revealed that it was only breading with no chicken — it was completely hollowed out. She cut two more nuggets, disclosing that they too were empty.
The viewer can also see in the background that the woman had cut into several other chicken-less nuggets and was able to put together a whole container full.

Walmart shared in a statement to TODAY.com that they’re aware of the situation.
“We are committed to providing our customers with quality items at great prices,” a Walmart representative told the outlet.
“We recently learned that some of our Great Value Chicken Nuggets have not met our quality standards and are working closely with our suppliers to resolve it. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
