Airport food prices are often more expensive, but a dad was left in shock after seeing the price of some fast food at Burger King in Antalya Airport in Turkey.
The dad, who shares his travels on TikTok as @travellingdad, revealed that he spent £83.75 — which is $106.07 USD — on what he called “proxy” burgers from Burger King.
He described the prices as “absolutely disgusting” and felt that the airport was “robbing” tourists.
In the video, he revealed exactly what their over-$100 order consisted of: three burgers — two of which he showed were thin as “an envelope” — three sodas, four orders of fries, one order of onion rings and a few packets of mayonnaise.
One person in the comments wasn’t surprised to see this, writing, “had been to Antalya Airport, super expensive. In fact, turkey has become very expensive.”
But others had mixed feelings about the ordeal.
