rewrite this title ‘Best life hack’ for stopping seat-recliners on planes sparks debate: ‘I’d slap the s- -t out of you’

Feeling salty because a fellow frequent flyer’s invading your space?

Well, there’s no need to have a chip on your shoulder thanks to this deliciously devious device — which has sourly divided social media.

“This is the best life hack when you’ve got someone in front who’s trying to put the seat down constantly,” Clare Duggan, a content creator, announced to a TikTok audience of over 1.5 million viewers.

In the viral vid, the tricky traveler used a large can of Pringles chips to prohibit the passenger in front of her from reclining their seat.

By lodging the cylinder container between her tray table and its latch, Duggan virtually restricted the anterior chair’s recumbent movement, ensuring that absolutely nothing cramps her style while at 30,000 feet.

A handful of appreciative trippers hailed the chips tip “genius,” while trolls trashed it as “petty.”

But the snack hack isn’t rooted in outright rudeness.

Seat-reclining is, instead, simply a plane privilege that puts everyone in an awkward position.

“Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should do it,” etiquette expert Tami Claytor recently said in regard to the hot-button the issue. “Reclining your seat and interfering with someone else’s comfort violates the basic principle of etiquette.”

And it’s an invasion of personal space that just won’t fly with a number of finnicky flyers.

An anonymous man on X blasted American Airlines for selling him a first-class seat situated behind an inoperable chair that was stuck in recline.

“No matter how I positioned myself, the seat was still against my knees,” he fumed. “Get it fixed before someone else wastes a fortune on first class and gets f–ked.”

Cathay Pacific, a Hong-Kong based airline, ultimately banned a vicious couple after they ganged up on a woman for reclining her chair during a flight from China to London.

“I felt it was absurd,” moaned the victim, who received a mile-high heap of digital support online.

Duggan, however, isn’t exactly garnering savory pats on the back for her crunchy hack.

“Clever! But they are entitled to put seat back,” barked a commenter, pooh-poohing her Pringles prank.

“This is ridiculous and quite frankly, you should be banned from flying,” wrote an equally outraged opposer. “Bloody pathetic.”

“Pringles prick,” another spat.

“Yeah I would’ve turned around and slapped the s- -t out [of] you,” swore a critic. “Get a private jet if you don’t want someone to put their seat back. [The F- -k].”
