A sweet life ahead.

A couple’s baby was born in a Krispy Kreme parking lot in Alabama during a winter storm — and the doughnut chain made the family an “a-glaze-ing” promise for the future.

Sha’nya Bennett gave birth to son Dallas with the baby’s father, Keon Mitchell, by her side inside their car outside the Krispy Kreme shop in Dothan last Wednesday, according to local news station WTVY.

The couple couldn’t make it to the hospital because of a winter storm that had as much as 11 inches of snow pummel parts of the state.

The Krispy Kreme was closed due to the weather when baby Dallas arrived, but the manager later found out about the wild experience that Bennett and Mitchell had.

He reportedly promised the family free donuts for a year, as well as to host Dallas’ first birthday party in Jan. 2026.

However, Krispy Kreme has decided to give them an even sweeter deal.

“Krispy Kreme is sweetening the family’s a-glaze-ing celebration by throwing Dallas a birthday party every year until he’s all grown up! ” a spokesperson for the company said in a statement to People on Saturday.

Dallas’ birth certificate is also believed to be the first to name Krispy Kreme as “place of birth,” per People.

Speaking to WTVY, the parents said that they were in the car on the phone with 911, only a mile away from Flowers Hospital.

But Bennett couldn’t wait any longer to deliver her baby.

“I felt the baby’s head at the red light. So once we got into the Krispy Kreme parking lot, I couldn’t stop pushing then I saw him sliding out, and I’m like, ‘Come grab him, come grab him!’” she recalled.

Baby Dallas was born before before the paramedics arrived at the parking lot.

“It is an experience to remember, it definitely is,” said Bennett, who also has a 5-year-old son. She proudly called herself “superwoman.”

Mitchell told WTVY he’s also proud of himself for how he handled the harrowing birth.

“I really don’t know how I stayed calm because I was really scared,” he said. “I was scared too, but now I feel like I really could be a doctor now.”
