The Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) announced the latest batch of startups that will be taking place in the nonprofit’s 12th WTIA Founder Cohort Accelerator Program on Wednesday.
The group includes 21 early stage tech companies, including several working in artificial intelligence.
Part of the WTIA Startup Program, the Founder Cohort is designed to help seed-stage startups across Washington state grow and scale over the course of six months. Companies gain access to various resources, mentorship, networking opportunities and guidance as they navigate increasing revenue, securing additional investment, and growing their teams.
Selected companies include:
“We are excited to roll out the revamped version of the accelerator program which will allow us to provide more individual support to each founder,” WTIA CEO Kelly Fukai said in a news release. “At WTIA, we believe that strong founder ecosystems are the backbone of a thriving technology sector.”
The program will run from January to June.
Since its inception, the WTIA Founder Cohort has supported over 300 companies. Alumni from previous cohorts have collectively raised over $350 million, according to WTIA.
