The investigation into S.B., who was arrested on October 14, 2023, on charges of drug trafficking by the Adana Republic Prosecutor’s Office, has been completed. An indictment requesting a prison sentence of up to 15 years for “engaging in drug trafficking or providing” was accepted by the Adana 12th High Criminal Court.
According to the indictment, it was stated that the defendant S.B. hid drugs between the doner bread and took them to his friend S.E., who was detained at the Şakirpaşa Police Station for a different crime, under the pretext of taking him food.
The indictment mentioned that during a search conducted by police officers at the station, it was determined that 5 drug pills were hidden in the bread. S.B. is facing up to 15 years in prison for the crime of “engaging in drug trafficking or providing.”
The detained defendant, who did not admit the allegations against him in the indictment, will be facing trial in the coming days.
