Report: Former FIT student accuses Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of raping, drugging in the ’90s

Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently facing a lawsuit filed by a former student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, who alleges that he drugged and raped her in the 1990s. The lawsuit claims that their relationship began when Combs offered to mentor her in the fashion industry and that he allegedly assaulted her after meeting at a bar in SoHo and taking her back to a hotel room. The petitioner woke up the next day feeling confused and violated.

The plaintiff, now 51 years old, described feeling trapped when Combs allegedly forced himself on her. Despite the initial assault, she decided to give him a second chance after he invited her to events in the music industry. However, the situation escalated when she was forced to perform some sexual acts on him in a parking garage. Combs did not care about being seen by others and later became threatening towards her when she started to distance herself from him.

In another disturbing incident in 1996, the plaintiff claimed she was coerced into taking drugs and engaging in sexual activities with Combs and his then-girlfriend, Kim Porter. She stated that she was raped once again during this encounter and eventually decided to cut off all contact with Combs in 1998. However, the situation worsened as Porter allegedly tried to sabotage her employment by spreading false accusations.

The lawsuit also mentions other entities such as Bad Boy Records, Arista, and Sony Music Entertainment as defendants, alleging that they allowed Combs to commit the alleged crimes. The bombshell lawsuit surfaced shortly after another former model accused Combs of similar offenses, and several other women have since come forward with similar allegations. This legal action adds to a series of controversies surrounding the music mogul, including a lawsuit filed by his ex Cassie Ventura in November.

Despite initially denying the allegations and calling them offensive, Combs publicly apologized for his behavior in a video over the weekend. He admitted his wrongdoing, describing his actions as inexcusable and expressing disgust with his past behavior. The surfacing of an old video showing Combs physically attacking Ventura in a hotel hallway in 2016 further intensified the public scrutiny on his actions. The rapper urged reflection on his past mistakes and took full responsibility for his behavior.

The troubling allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs have sparked concerns about sexual assault and misconduct in the entertainment industry. Victims of such crimes are encouraged to seek help and support through resources like the Sexual Assault Hotline. As more individuals come forward with their stories and legal actions are taken against perpetrators, there is a growing awareness of the importance of holding individuals accountable for their actions and providing support for survivors of sexual violence.
