Basketball Hall of Famer Reggie Miller celebrated the Indiana Pacers’ victory over the New York Knicks in Game 7, posting on Instagram that the series had changed after the Knicks’ win in Game 2. The Pacers went on to win two straight home games and then the final two games to eliminate the Knicks. Despite facing injuries to key players like Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson, the Knicks fought hard throughout the series.

In Game 2, the Knicks saw another blow as OG Anunoby suffered a hamstring injury and Josh Hart also went down with an abdominal injury. Game 7 saw Jalen Brunson fracture his left hand, adding to New York’s struggles. Anunoby tried to play in Game 7 but was limited by his injury, unable to run up and down the court effectively. Despite the challenges, the Knicks showed resilience and fought hard until the end.

The Timberwolves staged an impressive comeback, overcoming a 20-point deficit to stun the defending-champion Nuggets in Game 7. Donte DiVincenzo led the Knicks with 39 points in the game, praising his teammates for their efforts throughout the playoffs. The team faced adversity with injuries but showed determination and teamwork in their performance.

To add insult to injury, Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton wore a sweatshirt featuring a image of Miller with his hands around his neck, projecting confidence and dominance. Haliburton scored 26 points as Indiana shot an impressive 67.1% from the floor in Game 7. He emphasized the team’s ability to play fast in the playoffs and take advantage of opportunities to score.

Despite the disappointment of the Knicks’ loss, Brunson expressed pride in the team’s performance and effort throughout the season. He acknowledged that while the outcome was not what they wanted, the team fought hard and showed resilience in the face of adversity. The Knicks faced multiple injuries but continued to push forward and compete at a high level in the playoffs.

In conclusion, the Pacers’ victory over the Knicks in Game 7 marked the end of a hard-fought series, with both teams showing determination and resilience. Miller’s celebration and Haliburton’s confident performance highlighted the Pacers’ dominance in the final game. Despite injuries and setbacks, both teams displayed competitive spirit and determination, showcasing the intensity of playoff basketball.
