Families seeking to reunite with children kidnapped by the terrorist PKK organization have been holding a sit-in protest in front of the HDP provincial building since September 3, 2019, which is now in its 1879th day. Parents carrying the Turkish flag chanted slogans such as “Martyrs never die, the homeland will not be divided” and “Down with the PKK,” condemning the terrorist attack on Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara.
Speaking on behalf of the families, father Süleyman Aydın stated that the PKK terrorist organization once again showed its true colors. Aydın emphasized their determination to continue the fight against terrorism as parents who are on a vigil for their children, stating that as long as even one child remains in the clutches of the terrorist organization, they will continue their struggle. He also offered condolences to the martyrs and wished for a speedy recovery for the injured, while cursing the PKK.
Ayşegül Biçer, who was reunited with her child thanks to the sit-in protest, also condemned the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ. Calling on the children in the mountains to see the true face of the terrorist organization, Biçer expressed their determination to not let the country be divided through cowardly attacks. She affirmed their unwavering stance alongside the state, declaring that they will not leave until the treacherous PKK is defeated.
