Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice surrendered to police after a crash involving a half-dozen vehicles on a Dallas highway last month. Rice, represented by Texas state Sen. Royce West, turned himself in on charges including aggravated assault. He was booked into the Regional Jail in DeSoto and released on bond. Both Rice and Knox were allegedly speeding in the far left lane when they lost control of their vehicles. The Lamborghini that Rice was driving hit the center median wall, causing a chain collision. After the crash, Rice and Knox reportedly left the scene without checking on the other parties involved or providing their information. Four people sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash.
Rice, who grew up in North Richland Hills and played college football at Southern Methodist University, had a standout senior season in 2022 that caught the attention of NFL teams.
