According to the statement from the Meteorology Department, thunderstorms are expected to continue in the Inner Aegean region, with localized intensity in the general area of Manisa and the inner parts of Izmir in the next two hours. Citizens are warned to be cautious and take precautions against sudden floods, waterlogging, lightning, local hailstorms, and strong winds during rainfall.

The Meteorology Department also advised residents to avoid taking shelter under tall trees or seeking shelter near rivers, streams, and under bridges during thunderstorms. They emphasized the importance of staying indoors and away from windows during the storm for safety. Additionally, it is recommended to stay informed by following weather reports and announcements from official sources during severe weather conditions.

It is essential for drivers to reduce their speed and turn on their headlights during heavy rainfall to improve visibility on the roads. The Meteorology Department also suggested avoiding flooded areas and driving through them to prevent accidents. In case of severe weather conditions, it is advisable to avoid unnecessary trips and stay at home until the weather improves for safety reasons.

Authorities have urged residents to secure loose items in their yards or balconies, such as furniture and flower pots, to prevent them from being blown away by strong winds during thunderstorms. It is crucial to take these precautions to minimize the risk of property damage and ensure the safety of individuals during adverse weather conditions.

The Meteorology Department stated that the thunderstorm is expected to gradually weaken and move away from the Inner Aegean region in the coming hours. However, they continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates and warnings to the public as needed. Citizens are encouraged to remain vigilant and follow safety guidelines to protect themselves and their property during severe weather events.

In conclusion, residents in the Inner Aegean region, particularly in Manisa and the inner parts of Izmir, are advised to stay alert and prepared for localized intense thunderstorms. By following safety precautions, staying informed about weather updates, and avoiding unnecessary risks during severe weather conditions, individuals can ensure their safety and well-being. It is essential to take proactive measures to protect oneself and minimize the potential impact of adverse weather on the community as a whole.
