Pringles switches from can to bag for first bagged snack in 15 years

Pringles, known for their iconic saddle-shaped chips in a cylinder canister, have recently released a new snack called Pringles Mingles, which are shaped like bow-ties and air-puffed to offer a different texture and taste. These new snacks are designed to melt in your mouth, with a crispy outer layer and a light and airy interior. The bitesize puffs combine two Pringles flavors in each piece, creating unique combinations such as cheddar and sour cream, white cheddar and ranch, and dill pickle and ranch.

While the traditional Pringles chips are not going anywhere, the new puffed products are now available in grocery stores across the nation. Food blogger @junkfoodjunction even spotted the new Pringles in Canada. However, reactions on social media have been mixed, with some users expressing disappointment at the change. Many are nostalgic for the iconic cylindrical canister and are skeptical of the new bow-tie shape. Despite the initial backlash, Pringles Mingles and their unique flavors are here to stay.

In response to fan demand, Pringles has announced the return of their second most requested flavor, Pringles Dill Pickle, after a two-year hiatus. This time, the flavor will not be limited edition but a permanent addition to the Pringles lineup. Additionally, Pringles is bringing back their Hot Ones lineup, inspired by the popular Hot Ones sauces featured on the YouTube interview series. Both Pringles Dill Pickle and Hot Ones flavors will be available in stores nationwide starting in October, satisfying fans of spicy snacks and pickle lovers alike.

The announcement of Pringles Mingles and the return of Pringles Dill Pickle and Hot Ones has sparked a conversation on social media, with users sharing their thoughts on the new products. Some are excited about the return of Dill Pickle and the continuation of the Hot Ones lineup, while others are unsure about the changes to the Pringles packaging and flavors. Many users expressed a preference for the traditional Pringles canister, believing that the experience of popping open a can of chips is part of what makes Pringles unique.

Despite the mixed reactions from consumers, Pringles is confident that their new products will appeal to a wide range of snack lovers. The combination of innovative shapes, textures, and flavor profiles in Pringles Mingles, Pringles Dill Pickle, and Hot Ones lineup is intended to cater to different taste preferences and snack cravings. With these new offerings, Pringles aims to continue captivating their audience and expanding their loyal fan base while honoring the legacy of their classic saddle-shaped chips. Fans can look forward to trying these new products and experiencing the exciting flavor combinations Pringles has to offer.
