In an impressive college football performance, Texas led by Arch Manning defeated UTSA, moving them to No. 1 in the country rankings. The move came after Manning replaced injured Quinn Ewers and managed both to score and rush for impressive yardages. Looking ahead, Manning will play his first college start against UL Monroe. Georgia, another top-ranking team, has struggled to maintain its position, barely edging out Kentucky in a recent match. Alabama demonstrated its superiority by crushing Wisconsin, putting them back into the playoff spotlight.

Week 4 is expected to showcase some high-stakes games between top 25 teams, with no shortage of exciting matchups on the horizon. The Nebraska vs. Illinois game seems to be an intriguing clash, promising viewers a thrilling game with Nebraska’s Dylan Raiola up against Illinois’ strong defense.

Ohio State will see Marshall as their next rival team. The Buckeyes have to avoid being upset by an unranked team to maintain their strong position in the college football playoffs. October seems like a testing month for Ohio State, as their schedule will have them square off against formidable teams, Oregon and Nebraska.

In another dramatic move at Michigan, Sherrone Moore announced that Alex Orji will start as the quarterback. The challenge now for the USC lies in containing Orji, who predominantly has been a runner. However, Michigan may face a setback with the injury to star tight end Colston Loveland, whose availability remains uncertain.

The game between Utah and Oklahoma State could decide the early favorite for the Big 12. The fitness of Utah quarterback Cam Rising will be crucial since his return to play will be deciding for the team. Utah’s defense will also face a tough task of stopping Ollie Gordon II, last season’s Doak Walker Award winner. Another challenge for Oklahoma State would be running their game through Gordon after his recent dips in form.

Tennessee’s Nico Iamaleava will be watched closely when they go up against Oklahoma. His performance against a strong Brent Venables defense will be noteworthy. Tennessee coach Josh Huepel, a former Heisman Trophy runner-up, will be supported by a good home crowd. The homecoming for Huepel would be an added emotive twist to an already exciting fixture.
